Core memory full

#1

Hello

I was trying to install a software and in the middle of the installation, the memory of the VM filled up. Since the installed stalled in between, I am not able to locate the files that have been installed and also identify the files that should be deleted to free up the memory.

I get this error when I type in a command
ls bash: cannot create temp file for here-document: No space left on device
bash: cannot create temp file for here-document: No space left on device

I hope you can help me with this!

My VM is located in Warwick.

Thank you!

Anu

The issue has been fixed be removing /home/ubuntu/miniconda2 directory which was overgrown and not in use.
