I’m struggling to transfer some large files to Galaxy using FileZilla. I tried following the instructions here and here but the connection times out, even after adding the Galaxy admin user, adding a rule to the default security group, and setting FileZilla to use active connections. I’m able to ftp directly to the VM, just not to Galaxy. Any help appreiciated!
The Galaxy FTP will only work on VMs hosted at Birmingham I’m afraid, please check this first!
aha that could be it then, my VM was in Warwick
