Shelving instance not working via Bryn

Hello,

I would like to shelve an instance (IP 137.205.68.135, Region Warwick), but when I do this via the Bryn interface, it doesn’t work.

Shelving other instances, including from Warwick, has worked fine today, so I thought it might be something specific with this one…

Hi Phil,

We’ve had a look into this for you. It looks like that particular VM is using a legacy image which has been removed at Warwick, and so Openstack won’t allow shelving unfortunately. If you’d like to get rid of it permanently, it should be possible to Terminate it instead?
