Using RAxML for tree building

#1

I’d like to use raxml to build a phylogenetic tree. I’m using command line gvl. If I type brew search science I can see raxml and there is a tick next to it. However if I type raxml to try and get the help page up I get the message that it is not installed?
Do I need to do something prior to use?
Thanks

The RAxML executables are:

raxmlHPC-PTHREADS raxmlHPC-PTHREADS-SSE3 raxmlHPC-PTHREADS-AVX

You should be able to use the AVX version, which makes use of the capabilities of relatively modern processors [see: here].
