So I am trying to change to administrator as advised in the galaxy tutorial. I click on the admin tab in my GVL page and I am asked for a username and password. What details are these??? I have put in my Galaxy username and password also the email I signed up to galaxy with and password. Other random combinations and my username and passwords don’t match. I’ve tried changing my Galaxy password too
I can log in to Galaxy no problem.
Am I missing something?
The username and password you’re asked for are ubuntu and the password you set for the instance.
You only need to do this to make yourself a Galaxy admin, some tools will work fine using a user-level Galaxy account.
