Velvet versus Velvetoptimiser?

For the tutorial its says to use Velvet, but on Galaxy there is only the Velvet optimiser? Is this what I should use?

yes. just use velvet optimiser and give it a start kmer of e.g. 67 and an end kmer of e.g. 67 (i.e. same as first one)

Thanks. However, it won’t know read the input files as named as fastasanger?

they probably have to be fastqs?
